Make your workshop “all-inclusive” by adding housing and meals.

Students will have the option to have a residential experience at University of Colorado Boulder with the choice of a single or double occupancy. In 2022, we were located at the beautiful Farrand dorms are within easy walking distance to the dance building and will be accompanied by experienced chaperones. We hope to be at the Sewell dorms for 2023.

The student to chaperone ratio will be no more than a 10:1 and chaperones are available 24 hours a day onsite.

The residential student meal plan consists of lunch and dinner on campus at Center for Community (C4C). All dancers and chaperones will head to the dining hall together and have a variety of healthy choices.

Chaperones

All dancers under the age of 18 must have a chaperone 21 or older.

We will have qualified chaperones that we can assign to young dancers.

Dancers also have the option to bring their own chaperone!

10 dancers : 1 chaperone.

All chaperones that Boulder Jazz assigns are background checked and trained.

Having an assigned chaperone will mean dancers are:

  • Walked to and from dorms

  • Required to abide by curfews

  • Required BAND app for dancers, chaperones and parents

  • Assisting dancer with maintaining their class schedules

  • Introducing to the CU campus and familiarizing them with surrounding areas

  • Accompany dancers to and from the dining hall

Chaperone fee: $200 per dancer

Linen service in air-conditioned residence halls includes a linen package (one set of sheets, two towels, one washcloth), a pillow, a pillowcase, and a blanket. Blankets in non-air-conditioned residence halls are available upon request. There is no housekeeping service in individual guest rooms. Housekeeping service is provided in restrooms and public areas. Rooms are furnished with extra-long twin beds, dresser, bookcase, desk, and closet. Telephones are not provided in rooms and phone jacks are not active. A microfridge (microwave, refrigerator, and freezer) is provided in each room. Telephone wake-up service is not provided. TVs are located in building lounges. All rooms are non-smoking
