Chaperones

All dancers registered for the Residential Experience will be assigned a Boulder Jazz Dance Workshop staff member as their chaperone throughout the program. Our 2025 chaperones are current and former CU Boulder dance majors who are familiar with the campus, facilities, and surrounding areas.

We maintain a 6:1 dancer-to-chaperone ratio, ensuring that each participant receives attentive support and guidance.

Chaperones will:

    •    Walk with dancers to and from dorms and daily activities

    •    Assist dancers in maintaining their class and rehearsal schedules

    •    Accompany dancers to meals in the dining hall

    •    Help familiarize dancers with campus and nearby areas

    •    Stay connected with both dancers and parents via the BAND app for updates and communication

Our goal is to provide a supportive, safe, and community-focused environment where young dancers can thrive—both in and out of the studio.

Visit our TUITION page for information regarding pricing.
